If you are just finding CoolBlkPpl, then welcome to the blog!  I started this blog nearly two months ago, it is my baby with a little over 30 posts. In thinking about the content strategy for the blog, first I wanted to write about things I like and second highlight people who are doing cool things.  Now I also realize that the goal of CoolBlkPpl is to capture the “long tail” of Black culture.  So much media about Black people is lazy and often make blanket statements about what Black people do and what Black people like.  I am seeking out the square pegs, the weird ones and the pioneers. We are not a monolith. Let’s celebrate that!
